Kathleen was raised and continues to reside in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood. She attended the local elementary, high school & college. She has many happy memories of playing in Rittenhouse Square.
In 1978, she was granted her real estate license, and then in 2006 began a partnership with her daughter, Kate. Kathleen began as an independent contractor, eventually leading her to the now defunct 125-year-old Jackson Cross Co. From an agent to the manager of the residential division, she eventually became one of the owners of the company. After the sale of Jackson Cross, she managed offices at 3 different firms, hiring, redirecting & training hundreds of agents. As an expert in real estate, she has appeared on TV, and radio & was featured in the paper several times. She also served as an expert witness.
Giving back to the community is one of Kathleen’s passions. Some of her volunteer work included being the neighborhood Girl Scout leader, assisting with the Channel 12 Auction, sponsoring a booth in the Rittenhouse Flower Market benefiting children, chairing the CCRA House tour for many years, and being a member of the Ritt/Fit town watch.
Kathleen’s main joys in life are her family and friends, spending time in nature, and reading. Kathleen is married to Domenick, and has two daughters, Jill and Kate, and one grandson, Christopher.
Coming full circle, Kathleen is listing & selling homes with her partner, Kate. “I have enjoyed a career that has been very good to me. Through dedication and hard work, I have had the pleasure of assisting buyers & sellers river to river. The real bonus though was most days I was just having fun.”
