Philadelphia Real Estate Tax Reassessments-
First Level Review Submission has been Extended to Dec 2, 2022!!!
Just a short note to let you know that the October 14, 2022 deadline for filing a First Level Review (FLR) with the Office of Property Assessments (OPA) has been extended to December 2, 2022. Accordingly, if you feel that the real estate valuation that you received from the OPA last month is too high and does not accurately represent the true market value of your property, you can still request a FLR.
More information on filing a First Level Review can be found here. Please remember, homeowners are not eligible for the homestead exemption if they have a tax abatement or participate in the LOOP program.
