Once again, I am delighted to share with you the Compass Philadelphia Q1 Market Report... In Philadelphia and the surrounding Suburbs, we observed a reduction in the number of transactions along with an increase in median pricing in most areas. The higher interest rates have impacted home sales, keeping some buyers and sellers on the sidelines and keeping inventory reasonably low.
Despite these challenges, the demand for those sought-after properties (particularly those that aren't in need of renovation) remained strong contributing to a solid increase in property values in many areas.
